Introducing: New Adult Writers Union

There’s been something weighing on me lately, and I finally decided to do something about it. New Adult is a genre that is beginning to flourish, but the writers are a bit scattered, and the resources for those writers aren’t as great as they could be. When looking at other genres and audiences, there are a plethora of places for those writers to go for resources, help, announcements, and more.

So, I would like to introduce you to something I am excited to start: New Adult Writers Union.

NAWU will be open to anyone who writes New Adult stories. Published or unpublished, I want this to be a place for you.

FAQ

What are your plans for NAWU?

I’d like to start it here on my blog, just so it’s easier to manage. If it really kicks off, then I’ll migrate it to it’s own website. For now, I want do a bimonthly post for NAWU, which features upcoming releases, resources for NA writers, features NA reviews from bloggers, giveaways, and more. I would also like to create a system for authors to connect with bloggers to promote their stories and themselves. If things really pick up, I would love to have an NA pitch party, twitter chat, awards, and more — dream big, right?

This sounds awesome, how can I join?

As aforementioned, NAWU is open to anyone who writes New Adult stories. Whether you are unpublished, or published traditionally or self published! To get the latest information such as the bimonthly issue, you can register for the newsletter HERE. You will be subscribed via email and receive updates when new NAWU posts are made.

I’m an author with an upcoming release, can you announce it?

Absolutely! Please fill out THIS FORM.

I’m a blogger, and I want to support NA authors. Can I help?

Yes, of course! The more the merrier. First, please sign up for the NAWU newsletter. While it’s directed at writers, you will get information on upcoming releases as well!

If you’d like to help further, you can fill out our blogger form. NAWU Bloggers can help with blog tours, release day info, and more. If you’re interested, please fill out THIS FORM.

I’m an author, I’d like to connect with bloggers, how can I?

If you’re interested in connecting with bloggers to promote your book, please fill out THIS FORM. Please note that promotion does take awhile to set up, so please be patient with me.

How can I share about NAWU?

We have an awesome button you can add to your website! It would also be great if you linked directly to this page. If you’re on social media, use #NAWU!

I have other questions! Where can I ask them?

You can leave a comment on this post, visit my contact page, or contact me via twitter!

Aaah I love this idea, NA is possibly where I may take my writing since I feel my writing fits more NA than YA so we’ll see. *waddles to grab button and sign up*
